A year ago today, I took a huge leap of faith and launched AngelBirthdays.com. I had no plan, no publisher, no illustrator – just a spark of an idea that I felt very passionate about and that I believed could help others. Taking a friend’s advice, I even organized a quick launch party to kick off the site. I read a handwritten draft of Angel Birthdays from a journal at the party, just to put my story out there for others to hear. I had no idea what exactly would come next. Would I self-publish? Would a publisher finally say “yes” to me once I had a website? All I knew was that I had to start moving this message forward. I needed something to turn my spark into a flame.
What a difference one year makes! Today I have a publisher, an Oct 1st book release date and a website that has been viewed in every US state and across 64 different countries – over one third of the world!
